Monday - Friday: 7AM-3:30PM or 3:15PM-11:45PM
Possess a thorough understanding of solder wave operations on leaded and lead-free machine processes. Demonstrate the ability to set-up the solder wave machines for new and existing jobs and have the capability to solve soldering and flux issues that arise. Strive to see that completed boards meet EMSG's quality standards, require minimum touch-up work, and are completed in a timely manner.
May be required to train additional personnel.
Perform periodic cleaning and preventive maintenance on the solder wave machine and do daily upkeep of the solder wave room, which involves keeping the floor swept and the tables and floor free of clutter.
Ensure that proper safety measures are maintained at all times.
Operate the Washing Machine as required.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be capable of hand assembly. May be required to use hand tools and power tools. Job assembly may require standing or sitting. May be asked to assist with assembly in other departments.
The Solder Wave Operator will report to the Production Supervisor.
