Monday-Friday:  7:30AM-4:00PM

The Shipping Clerk must possess a thorough understanding of packing and shipping practices as related to printed circuit board assemblies. Must possess the ability to learn the UPS shipping system, FED EX, international shipments, and freight trucking as it pertains to the shipment of daily products, and retain the knowledge learned, with minimal supervision. Must display a concern for quality and customer satisfaction, in that, the product is packed for safe transit, is ready when the carriers arrive, and is shipped correctly to the customer. May be required to train others on packaging and shipping procedures.

The Shipping Clerk must have minor knowledge of product folders, product drawings, bills of material and other provided product information as required for labeling, packing and shipping instructions. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able work as a team and assist with coordination of work load among shipping coworkers. Must show ability to resolve minor problems independently, access daily shipping schedule, and interact with other departments to locate missing product that is scheduled. Must communicate packing supply needs to purchasing on a regular basis.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of hand assembly. May be required to assist in other departments and use hand tools and power tools. Job duties necessitate standing during entire shift. 

The Shipping Clerk will report to the Production Manager.
