Job Summary
- To assist the General Manager in the overall operations of the Restaurant
- Interacting directly with customers by taking orders, assisting with drinks and delivering meals
- Taking ownership of station and providing the best service possible
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the station and equipment every shift
- Complying with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in ensuring that all meals are properly ordered by and presented to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill scheduled shifts in a timely manner with a positive attitude
- Assist in ordering of all products, taking inventory and deliveries
- Help in the training of new team members
- Ensure that all FOH areas are maintained and cleaned
- Perform checklists for each FOH area and fix issues
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in all FOH.
- Enjoy your time and help customers to enjoy their experience as well!
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
- Familiar with restaurant sanitation and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
- Experience with addressing customer complaints
- Flexibility to work any shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Problem-solving and conflict management abilities
- A willingness to learn and to grow with company
About: We are a new multi-concept project located in Pacific Beach, CA, including six distinct food concepts under one umbrella: Spitfire, Head Lettuce, Checkered Churros, Harvey Carvers, Earlybird Breakfast Burritos, and Scotty Dogs. The project is being developed by local restaurateur Scott Slater and will feature a main kitchen with new and efficient technology for ordering, as well as robust delivery service.
