Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker 3 Team Member is a lead-level position on the Warehouse team with increased experience, skills, and responsibilities of a Warehouse Worker 1 and 2. The Warehouse team’s goal is to ensure efficient and safe handling of products, materials, and supplies within the warehouse, and specifically, receiving, storing, and distributing ice cream and related products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean and organized. The Warehouse Worker 3 is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with planning and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse. This role involves leading and supporting the Warehouse team, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to food and plant safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Success for Warehouse Worker 3 is achieved through a positive attitude and expertise to guide and instruct junior-level Team Members, facilitating the achievement of Warehouse tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following qualifications: 
  • 2+ years working in commercial food preparation, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment 
  • 1+ years warehouse experience 
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a Forklift Operator's Certificate as needed 
  • Experience operating various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies, power tools and other related equipment 
  • ERP/NetSuite experience preferred 
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred 



Knowledge and Critical Skills: 
  • Fluency in English.  
  • Good counting and math skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring hospitality into all interactions. 
  • Ability to work with people of all backgrounds and identities. 
  • Comfortable working on a team in a manufacturing facility with other teams. 
  • Possess general knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, types of equipment, and materials commonly used in a production warehouse setting. 
  • Ability to coach, lead, and motivate Team Members. 
  • Ability to uphold a high standard of service, efficiency, sanitation, and safety.
