Responsibilities for Line Cook:

Perform food preparation tasks
Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at your station and meeting prep times
Set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol
Maintain a clean work station area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products
Maintain a clean workspace by cleaning before, during, and after shifts
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the kitchen shift leads and managers

Qualifications for Line Cook:

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
Friendly and positive attitude towards team members
Ability to read and follow cooking directions
Must be able to work a minimum of 6 hours, bend, stoop, and lift a moderate weight
Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings and weekends
