Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage reservations, including handling phone calls and online booking systems.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to guests.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and perform basic cashiering tasks.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and address any guest needs.
- Ensure the lobby area is tidy and presents a welcoming environment.
- Assist in managing and optimizing the hotel's reservation system and front office operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification or degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a front desk role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including reservation software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
