Job Description
Peak with Priceless is a stunning restaurant, bar, and event space located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards. Managed by Tao Group Hospitality, Peak with Priceless is a modern American destination, offering a blend of stunning views of New York City, elevated menus, a vibrant atmosphere, and warm hospitality. Positioned at the summit of the 1,296-foot tall tower, Peak with Priceless sits one level above Edge, the highest observation deck in the Western Hemisphere.
Preparation of Food and Beverage for guests. Interacts with the restaurant guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provide warm hospitality to all guests. Provide prompt, efficient and timely customer service within a fast-paced environment, with speed and precision being a top priority
- Take accurate orders from guests in the queue. Prepare and serve food and beverage items. Present bills for payment and process transactions
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and how to serve the food and beverage items, to enable you to answer guests’ and coworkers’ questions with confidence
- Perform opening, closing and running side work daily
- Clean & sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and workstations as necessary or on a schedule set by management
- Organize Food and Beverage display and counter areas to standard and restock all items to meet minimum stocking levels
- Work as a team with other Concessions Attendants, Server Assistants and Food Runners to provide the best service
- Transportation of equipment using hand trucks, dollies, or other moving equipment
- Load and unload equipment to designated areas as required
- Navigate equipment through tight spaces and around obstacles safely
- Assist in the setup and installation of equipment to follow destination layouts
- Follow specific instructions for proper placement and configuration
- Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Concession and Bar Attendant training
EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience required
- Minimum 1 year bartender experience preferred.
- Previous experience in concessions preferred.
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge
