Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager will help the General Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Trains restaurant staff according to corporate standards.
- Assist in organizing and overseeing the staff schedules.
- Enforce systems set in place.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
- Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Monitor food and labor costs; watches for wasteful practices.
- Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
- Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance
- Monitor sales and tracks cash shortages.
- Maintain appearance of the staff and building.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
- Proficient with POS systems
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- General Management or Assistant Management experience
- Successful completion of corporate training program required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift to 25 - 30 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11-$15 an hour with performance-based bonuses
