Line Cook Responsibilities
- Know the recipes and prepare the food according to those recipes, cooking them properly and according to proper procedure
- Organize tickets and communicate with fellow team members on ticket timing
- Communicate when new tickets come in, i.e. walking in New York 2 times for 5 all day.
- Send out food in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with pizza or sandwich to be sure food is coursed or sent out in the right time. i.e. apps and salads first, if appropriate
- Keep area clean, restock line, perform food reviews shiftly
- Train new cooks to our standard.
- Support each other!
Preferred Experience
- 6 months of cook experience in full service or quick service restaurant
