About the Role
Orbital Kitchens seeks a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee our operations across all departments. This role will supervise this location's team management, compliance, and Inventory management. Our future General Manager must have Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptive skills, as well as proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Word, and various management systems. Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Management
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the operations at the location level. These departments include Receiving, Inventory, Prep, Production, Porters, Kitchen Line, Managers, Supervisors, Catering, and Dispatch.
- Manage the hiring onboarding process and lead employee management. Efforts: Handle conflict resolutions, decision-making, and documentation, and engage HR when needed.
- Establish performance and process management by routinely communicating and supporting management and staff through feedback and performance reviews.
- Oversee food quality and ensure standards are always followed and maintained.

Inventory & Labor Management
- Manage Inventory and Labor levels using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor productivity and cost productivity.
- Use allotted hours to create and maintain store schedules. to maintain labor percentages

Compliance
- maintain compliance with the Department of Health (DOH) regulations, labor laws, fire safety standards, and workplace safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a restaurant management role, either in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant
- Fundamental knowledge of Cost of Goods (COGs) and labor management systems.
- Proven expertise in managing back-of-house operations, encompassing food handling, staff supervision, inventory management, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Proficiency in Excel Word and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
