Role Overview
The Dishwasher ensures all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. They maintain a spotless dish area, support the BOH team, and help create a kitchen environment that feels warm, human, and high‑energy. Their work directly impacts food quality, speed of service, and the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Dishwashing & Cleaning — Genuine Authenticity
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware according to standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter‑free dish area
- Handle equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly
- Take pride in doing things the right way — no shortcuts, no “good enough”
Kitchen Support — Relentless Hospitality
- Keep clean dishes flowing to the line and prep stations during peak periods
- Assist with trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and general kitchen cleanliness
- Support teammates proactively — jump in wherever needed
- Help create a calm, positive, and supportive environment for the entire team
Quality & Speed — Deliciously Bold
- Work with urgency and energy to keep the kitchen running smoothly
