Who Bread Zeppelin Is Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic Catering Sales Manager to drive catering sales and build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and community organizations. This role is responsible for generating leads, closing catering orders, and ensuring seamless execution of catering events. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong sales skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Sales & Building Development:
- Proactively identify and pursue new catering sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, and community outreach.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, corporate offices, schools, hospitals, and other key catering clients.
- Maintain an active pipeline of potential catering clients and follow up consistently.
- Create and implement promotional strategies to drive catering revenue.
Client Relations & Order Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all catering inquiries and bookings.
- Guide clients through the catering menu, making recommendations based on their needs and budget.
- Ensure a smooth ordering process, help with menu selection, delivery timing, and special requests.
- Follow up with client’s post-events to gather feedback and foster repeat business.
Operations & Coordination
- Work closely with restaurant management to ensure timely and accurate catering orders.
- Coordinate delivery logistics, ensuring on-time and professional presentation.
- Maintain accurate records of catering orders, sales data, and client interactions.
- Assist in resolving any catering-related issues or last-minute changes.
Work & Qualification Requirements
- 2+ years of catering sales experience, preferably in the fast-casual or restaurant industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple orders at once.
- Proficiency in CRM software, catering management systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends for client meetings or events.
